This scrubjay reminds me of my childhood, when I would see this elusive beautiful bird perched at the tree in my backyard. I haven't seen any since, but it is captured here in this original limited edition linocut print. Its bold blue color with grey, black, and cream on a background of soft sage green would look lovely in any room and is sophisticated enough for an office, yet charming enough for a thoughtful gift. This bird is part of my ongoing series of wild birds which can be seen in its entirety on this site.

This original art print is created with multiple hand-carved linoleum mounted wood blocks. The colors are mixed and rolled out and printed by hand via careful transferring with a metal spoon. The finished result is unique and original with no two prints being alike.
