About Anna

Born and bred an only child in Long Beach, California, Anna See has always been inquisitive and creative since an early age, with a wide variety of interests. It is impossible for her to ever get bored. She always knew she would end up in the art field, but didn't know yet where she would fit in, as she was seemingly a jack of all trades, master of none, and quite embarrassed by it!

When she was finally old enough, she escaped to Boston to study Art History but soon realized that studying it was not as much fun as doing it, so she entered Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where she graduated with honors, but still felt that she did not fit in. After being admonished for being "all over the place," Anna finally realized that it’s okay to challenge yourself and explore, and that versatility can be a strength as "Style should not drive the picture; the picture should drive the style."

Thus, after a stint at a nine-fiver, she now finds herself currently settled in beautiful Summerlin, Nevada; crafting her own world of illustrations, styles, objets d'art, and other ephemera, created and carefully selected, in the hopes of being able to offer her own unique brand and creative contributions to the world.

Every item seen in her shop is carefully selected for one or more of the following:
  • Quality
  • Craftsmanship
  • Artist Made/Handmade
  • Beautiful Form
  • Innovative Function

Inspired by her own humble start selling her work online since 2009, Anna hopes to continually present a carefully curated selection of unique and special goods and gifts that support the handmade community and local economy, whilst bringing a little bit of light to your home, loved ones, or gift recipient, in whatever way and however small her contribution may be.

Clients: UCLA, Serena & Lily, Urban Outfitters, VISA, Twitter, Sony Pictures, Trend Bible, Uncovet, Nordic Cultural Institute, among others.

Her work has been recognized amongst the year's best illustrations by American Illustration, and has been featured in popular design blogs such as Decor8, Creature Comforts, Lucky Magazine, Anthology Magazine, Bright Bazaar, Ruelala, Refinery 29, Fossil, Babble, Merci Alfred, Decoist, amongst many others.

She is so very grateful to the people and supporters in her life that have helped to allow her to be able to share what she has to offer and it is this support that enables her work to be produced. Thank you.
